I’m Melissa Bliss,
a somatic Coach and Bodyworker.
I have spent over 20 years helping people discover and transform how they live in their bodies. I began as a massage therapist and still carry my license. My love of learning has guided me to explore the physical body, energetic body and the psyche through practices including Somatic Experiencing, Musculoskeletal Alignment, Anusara Yoga, Ecstatic Dance, Reiki, Cranisosacral Therapy, Trauma Healing, Earth Medicines, Tony Robbins coaching and shadow work with Archetypes and Gene Keys.
I’m passionate about guiding and supporting women as they re-discover their body’s wisdom where their true self is already waiting.

I’ve Been There.
I’ve journeyed through grief, betrayal, and loss— giving so much of myself to others that I lost connection with who I was. I often betrayed myself for the comfort of others and lost touch with my own needs. Through somatic work with boundaries and awareness, I began releasing the roles I once carried: the good girl, the caretaker, the fixer, the one who holds it all together.
What emerged was my sensitive, intuitive heart… a deeper awareness of my needs… and the courage to ask for support. I built the capacity to take care of those needs even if it made others uncomfortable. By learning my body’s signals, I found my way back to spirit, to nature, and to a grounded sense of worth.
Now, I continue the practice of trusting my body, slowing down, and opening to the paradoxical beauty of the present moment.

How Somatic sessions Support you

Somatic Experiencing™ is a gentle, body-based way of healing that helps you come back to yourself—especially after stress, overwhelm, or trauma.
Instead of only talking through what happened, it guides you to pay attention to what your body has been holding onto. Maybe that’s a tight chest, a clenched jaw, a restless feeling you can’t quite explain. In this kind of therapy, those sensations aren’t problems to fix—they’re messages to listen to, in small pieces to keep you feeling safe and not overwhelmed. This practice creates the conditions for feeling more grounded, empowered, capable and alive.
